Terms of use
The rules for using the FlowELMS app and website. By using FlowELMS you agree to them.
Effective 1 November 2026
What FlowELMS is
FlowELMS is an independent student project maintained by xzelleiv. It is a companion app for the STI ELMS website and is not owned, endorsed, or operated by STI or the ELMS provider. STI, ELMS, Google, Gemini, OpenAI, ChatGPT, Microsoft, and other names belong to their owners.
Your account
- Accounts are invite-only and are for one person on one phone. Do not share your account, and do not sell invite codes.
- Signing in from a different phone blocks the account for one day. An admin can reset your trusted device.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
- Access can be blocked, for a set time or until lifted, for account sharing, abuse, or attempts to get around these limits. The reason is shown in the app.
Using ELMS through FlowELMS
- Sign in only with your own ELMS account, and follow your school’s rules, including its academic integrity and acceptable use policies.
- FlowELMS does not bypass ELMS sign-in, deadlines, attempt limits, or any other ELMS control, and you must not use it to try.
- Always confirm a submission on the ELMS page before the deadline.
AI features
- AI is optional and runs through Google Gemini or OpenAI ChatGPT using your own key or account. Their terms, usage limits, and charges apply to you.
- AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check them before you rely on them.
- Using AI help or Quiz Mode during graded work may break your school’s rules. Whether you use them is your decision and your responsibility.
Ownership and license
- FlowELMS, its source code, and the FlowELMS name, logo, and icon are owned by xzelleiv. All rights reserved.
- You may install and use official builds for personal, non-commercial use. This permission is personal, cannot be transferred, and can be withdrawn.
- You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or reverse engineer FlowELMS, or publish modified builds, except where the law allows it.
- Install FlowELMS only from this website or the official GitHub releases. Builds from elsewhere may be modified.
- FlowELMS includes open source components that remain under their own licenses. Their notices are published at /third-party-notices.txt.
No warranty
FlowELMS is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. ELMS can change at any time, and features that depend on it may stop working.
To the extent the law allows, the maintainer is not liable for lost data, missed deadlines, grades, actions your school takes on your account, or charges from AI providers.
Changes and contact
These terms may change. The effective date above shows the current version, and continuing to use FlowELMS after a change means you accept it.
